the car dealship put a loan in for me to buy a car and it's been over a month. What is up?

I would have to assume that you were denied credit but they were too lazy to call and tell you.. If the loan would have been approved, they would have called you asap to get a deal done.



However, there is also the possibility that a clerical error has happened and somehow this loan app fell by the wayside.



Not sure why you are asking us and not the dealer, but my advise is to call the dealer and ask what is up.



Loan apps take about 5 or 10 minutes these days...unless some sort of a bad credit deal, but even then a loan can either be found or not within 30 minutes.

I agree w/ robert, the yare all about money and would have called you back to back until they reached you if you had been approved, by the bank, your salesman, the secretary, you wouldve known. But usually the initial application is good for 90 days, and payment contracts can be anywhere from 1 yr to at least 7, i had one for 7.
