Does E-Loan require proof of income for an auto loan if you have excellent credit?

I'm young and trying to buy a car with little credit history. My aunt wants to co-sign for me and she has excellent credit but doesn't have any proof of income recently since shes been sick with cancer. Will E-Loan need a proof of income for either of us for the car loan? It says approval within an hour and check arrives the next day...no mention of it...but im just curious if it's going to be hinging on that or not. My dad said he's bought cars when he had good credit without a paystub...just told them monthly income and that was that...but that was a while ago and hes not sure if its changed or not. any help, thank you.

Proof of income is a stipulation, and sometimes not required if a co signer has good credit. Dont count on it though.
