I am looking to purchase a car sometime next year. I am considering a loan, but I am not sure of where to take the loan from. My question is which is the best place to take a loan out of: a bank, the dealership (some offer it), or through Capital One, any other options?
I am aware that there are interest rates as well. Thanks!
Best place to take out an auto loan?
I agree with the first answer: join a credit union. They have the lowest rates and a lot of times will help you when no one else will. If that doesn't work, try your bank next. There are also some places online that may can help you. If you have no credit or bad credit, try Citifinancial. You can apply online at www.citifinancialauto.com. If all else fails, try the dealer. They may have a program that works for you.
Since you aren't planning to buy until next year, you have time on your side. Make sure that your credit is the best it can be. Make all payments on time and cut down on inquiries. These things and time will help you get a loan and a low rate.
Good luck!

your own bank would be the best place to start. but the dealer can usually find financing to but there rates are sometimes higher. good luck PS capital one probably has bad rates
