I sent in in an auto loan paymen to fifth third bank aprox a week or so before it was due (i sent it on a friday) and it was due on dec. 30th. It still shows it hasnt been taken out of my bank account. Is it because of the holiday you think? i just dont want them to tell me to send another payment and then they %26quot;magicallyapply 2 payments to the account.%26quot; Anyone have similar problems with this?

We have car loan through them. I would try and call to see what the holdup is? You do not wanting this to show on your credit has a negative when in fact you paid on time.. Good Luck!

When the payment is received during the holiday season it usually takes them an additional 3 - 4 Business days on top of that for the check to be processed. They will however back date the payment to the date it was received. Have you tried making payments online with online banking? Or set up an Autopayment debit so you won't have to worry about the mail anymore.

i would not be concerned as it usually it takes a few days once received to have it posted, but be assured they can not play with your cashed check as they are audited yearly by the state. also the holiday mail will play a large part for the delay as well.

I had written a check in my town and it was deposited into there bank on the 21st and did not come out of my account for a week so dont stress just yet.
