My bank (U.S. Bank) rejected me for an auto loan because I don't have a long enough credit history (I've only had my card since November of 2003). However, my credit score is 704.
I have a dealership in mind that my family has been using for ten years, and they promote their financing program as being able to help almost anyone secure an auto loan despite credit problems.
Anyone know if dealerships can get an auto loan easier than a bank? I do not want to have a co-signer.

Question about auto loan/financing...?
Auto finance iswhat I do for a living and auto loans are based on the following factors;
1. LTV (loan to value).
2. Term requested.
3. Age of vehicle.
4. Miles on vehicle.
5. Down payment.
6. Time on job.
7. Time at residence.
8. Monthly income before taxes.
9. Credit score/profile.
Go to your dealer and work with them. Due to your thin file, you may require Special Finance.
